Doors open at 5:30pm and the film will be due to start at 6:00pm. There will be refreshments available but feel free to bring your own snacks and a cushion too, for extra comfort. There is parking at the village hall and the hall is wheelchair accessible with disabled toilet facilities. We can put subtitles on the film if requested. The film has a runtime of 3 hours and there will be an interval approximately half-way through.
Description of Film:
During World War II, Lt. Gen. Leslie Groves Jr. appoints physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer to work on the top-secret Manhattan Project. Oppenheimer and a team of scientists spend years developing and designing the atomic bomb. Their work comes to fruition on July 16, 1945, as they witness the world's first nuclear explosion, forever changing the course of history.
